Thirsk in the 21st Century is made up of nearly 100 slide shows, linked together using a fully-linked index system, to help you find what you are looking for. The software needed is provided on the disc and is easy to instal on your hard drive. You can then run the presentation from disc, or alternatively, transfer all files to your hard drive.
The 400 entry alphabetical index gives one-click access to individual pages, or whole 'chapters'. You can follow these to the end, or return to the index at any time. If you look at each screen page for 15 seconds, it will take over 5 hours to see it all!
The minimum system requirement to run the CD is a PC operating with Microsoft Windows 95 or later, with 16 Mb RAM and CD ROM drive. To download all files to your hard drive will require about 150 Mb of disc space.
