A Visual Snapshot of Thirsk in the Year 2000

The tour of Thirsk takes you round the Market Place and streets near the centre of town, with photographs of nearly every building (shot mostly on 4th August 2000). There is detailed description and historical information where appropriate.

There are comprehensive pictorial tours of other streets in Thirsk and Sowerby, extending to Carlton Miniott and South Kilvington; also detailed studies of Codbeck and St. Mary's Church.
